Benromach 10 Years Old is hand-crafted at Speyside’s smallest working distillery using the finest Scottish malted barley and the purest spring water from the nearby Romach Hills. Matured in the finest, hand selected Sherry & Bourbon casks, Benromach 10 Years Old is returned to sweet Oloroso sherry casks for a final marrying period.
Without water
Nose: Rich sherry influence with fruit & nut chocolate and delicate spice – cinnamon. Fresh green apples, with a malty, digestive biscuit note and light peat smoke in the background.
Palate: Delicious forest fruits – raspberries and brambles, sherry, malt creaminess with a stronger peat influence.
With water
Nose: Charred oak influence and malt. Slightly nutty with exotic fruits – pineapple and kiwi.
Palate: Mouth coating with toasted malt. lingering sweet sherry and delicate peat smoke.
Rich sherry influence with fruit and nut chocolate
Delicate spice, green apples, malty biscuit and a touch of light smoke
Juicy raspberries and brambles, sherry, creamy malt and a light peat
A wee bit nutty with a touch of charred oak and malt and some fancy pineapple and kiwi
