This whisky has a excellent balance and clarity. With winter spice, ginger, cocoa dryness and nutty hints create a beautiful aroma. In terms of taste, sherried sultana, wood tannins, toffee and zesty ripe orange provide an explosion of flavour.
The casks used for this 40 year old were a mixture of American oak and sherry casks to create a unique rich flavour.
