Description and review by Daniel & Rex in the Whisk(e)y Vault
Jim Beam Black is no ordinary bourbon.
Eight years of ageing make for a complex, sophisticated taste. Mixes well in cocktails. A premium bourbon with a more flavourful character. A must-have for very at-home bar.
Colour: Honey, amber.
Aroma: Toffee and tobacco.
Taste: Starts you off with a semi-sweet beginning, and notes of oak grow stronger as you go. Subtle toasted grains follow.
Finish: Elegant. Long. Subtly flavoured. Smooth.
Full-bodied flavours, warm oak and caramel
Made in Clermont, Kentucky, since 1795
Made to be sipped and savoured

An ideal gift for whiskey lovers
