Description
This American whiskey has been aged in casks which previously held Bourbon whiskey so cannot be called Bourbon. It takes on the richness of the Bourbon with deep butterscotch and vanilla notes, with dried fruits and toffee finishing with ripe orchard fruits. Distilled by master distiller Willie Pratt and tasted by him and his team and only released until they deem the whiskey is ready.
Characterized by deep butterscotch and vanilla notes, hints of caramel and dried fruit with a ripened fruit finish.
Michter’s whiskeys are recognized internationally for their exceptional quality. Honored as the “Best of the Best” by Robb Report, “Distiller of the Year” by Wine Enthusiast, and “Best American Whiskey” by Food & Wine, Michter’s is a Proof-level member of the Kentucky Distillers Association.
